Rectavia Ltd is a registered Nigerian agro-commodity trading company with a proven record of supplying high-quality agricultural products to buyers across Europe, Asia, the Middle East, and beyond. Founded by Dr. Gideon Tochi, our company was built on a foundation of integrity, quality assurance, and consistent delivery.
We work directly with vetted farming cooperatives and processing facilities across Nigeria to maintain control over product quality from source to shipment. Our experienced team handles all export documentation, logistics coordination, and compliance requirements, making the import process seamless for our partners.
Sourced directly from Nigeria's most fertile producing regions. Every product line meets or exceeds international phytosanitary and quality standards.
Our minimum order quantity varies by product. For Tigernuts, Dry Split Ginger, and Chilli, we accept trial orders from 1 metric ton (MT). For Hardwood Charcoal, the minimum is typically one 20-foot container (approximately 18 to 20 MT). We are happy to discuss smaller quantities for new buyers as a quality verification step.
Each shipment is accompanied by a phytosanitary certificate issued by the Nigerian Agricultural Quarantine Service (NAQS), a certificate of origin, a commercial invoice, a full packing list, and an independent laboratory quality analysis report. Additional certifications such as organic or fumigation certificates can be arranged upon request at the order stage.
We offer flexible packaging across all product lines. Standard options include 25 kg, 50 kg, and 1,000 kg (jumbo bags) for grains and spices. Charcoal is typically packed in 10 kg, 15 kg, or 25 kg polypropylene woven bags. Custom branded packaging, private label, and retail-ready formats are available for buyers with sufficient order volumes. Please discuss your requirements at the enquiry stage.
Lead time depends on the product, quantity, and season. For in-stock products, processing and loading typically takes between 7 and 14 working days from the receipt of an initial deposit. For large volumes or freshly harvested produce, lead times of 3 to 5 weeks may apply. We always confirm a realistic timeline at the quotation stage to avoid any surprises.
For new buyers, we operate on a 50% advance payment with the balance payable before shipment. For established partners with a track record of successful orders, we can offer payment against documents through a Letter of Credit (L/C) or other agreed terms. We work with all major international banks and accept wire transfers (SWIFT/IBAN) in USD, EUR, and GBP.
Yes, we actively encourage sample requests from prospective buyers. Product samples (typically 500 g to 1 kg per line) are available and shipped via international courier at the buyer's cost. The sample cost is usually credited toward the first commercial order. Samples are a key part of our quality assurance process and we want you to be fully confident before committing to a full order.
We are flexible on Incoterms. We can supply on an FOB (Free on Board) Lagos or Apapa port basis, which means we handle all processing, packaging, documentation, and loading onto the vessel. We also offer CIF (Cost, Insurance, and Freight) to your nominated destination port. Our logistics partners cover over 30 countries. Please state your preferred Incoterms at the enquiry stage.
